An artist, Katie designs graphic identities, creates graphic tools and animations, and is an accomplished photographer. Katie Chiu actively creates and manages content and conversations on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn and other media/websites for Allyn Media clients. Kierra is an advocate for youth and women's leadership and empowerment through public speaking and creative arts. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of North Texas at Dallas, and a Master of Public Leadership with an emphasis in Nonprofit and Community Leadership. Kierra served the City of Cedar Hill Neighborhood Advisory Committee and led a number of initiatives for young women as Co-chair of the Young Women's Advisory Council established by the Texas Women's Foundation.
Prior to joining Allyn Media, Kierra served as an administrative assistant within the Office of the President at The University of North Texas at Dallas (UNTD) and Program Coordinator within the Principal Impact Collaborative, a two year fellowship designed to reinvigorate school leaders and their passion for education. With a demonstrated history of support in the higher education industry, project-based curriculum, special events coordination, and community engagement, Kierra is driven by diverse opportunities to support others in achieving their goals through empathy, equity, and design.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy & Africana Studies from Louisiana State University and a certificate in Social Entrepreneurship from Oxford. She is a former Communities Foundation of Texas, Emerging Leader in Philanthropy Fellow and an Obama Foundation Community Leader Alumni.
Having launched programs for organizations such as the State Fair of Texas and the Texas Women’s Foundation she is a staunch advocate for collaborations, partnerships and a collective impact approach to producing lasting change in communities.Ĭimajie serves on both the Dallas County Child Welfare board and the North Texas Alliance to Reduce Unintended Pregnancy in Teens board.
